Delivery and Inspection Instructions
We work with LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight carriers, and as such, we do not have control over the driver, scheduling, or final drop-off. Our delivery is classified as curbside delivery. You will be responsible for moving and placing the product after delivery. If you notice visible, significant damage to the crate, please refuse the delivery immediately.
Upon delivery, please open the crate and thoroughly inspect the contents. Even if installation is not scheduled right away, it is crucial to inspect the product upon receipt. In the event of any damage, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a claim.
SeaWard Limited Lifetime Warranty
All our products are custom-built, so purchases are final and non-returnable. However, SeaWard stands by our product and craftsmanship. Should a situation arise, we will do our best to identify the issue and resolve it.
All SeaWard products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship. SeaWard will conduct an inspection to determine if the failure is due to a defect in workmanship. If damage is determined to be the result of a defect, SeaWard will promptly repair or replace the product at no charge.
The limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage resulting from but not limited to the following:
- Normal wear and tear
- Product neglect or misuse
- Unauthorized alterations
- Intentional damage
- Weather disturbances / Acts of God
SeaWard Powder Coating Warranty
SeaWard warrants that the powder coating applied to your product will remain free from de-bonding, cracking, or peeling for a period of one year from the date of completion. This warranty is valid only under normal usage conditions and does not cover damage caused by factors outside of our control, such as improper handling, maintenance, installation, or vandalism.
This warranty applies solely to the re-coating of affected areas at our facility and does not cover any associated costs, including but not limited to disassembly, removal, transportation, reassembly, or reinstallation.
Claims Process
All claims will be reviewed upon submission, and you will be contacted with the next steps. To file a claim, please provide proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos of the damaged area. Once we receive the necessary information, a member of our team will reach out to you.
